Starting October 29th, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector will officially support Xbox Play Anywhere (XPA).
Live Cross-Platform Multiplayer: PC and Xbox console players can now battle each other in real-time via Microsoft Live Multiplayer using XPA..
Shared Save Games: Progress syncs seamlessly between Xbox and PC.
Shared Achievements: Progress towards Achievements can be made on both Xbox and PC.
User Creations & Map Editor: Custom maps and content will keep working as currently with the Map Editor available whenever you play on a PC.
Play on Xbox: Players who already own the game on Xbox will see no difference to their experience.
Play on PC: Once we have released the XPA version, owners of the Xbox version will be able to go to the Xbox App on PC and download the game along with all their owned DLC.
Windows Store Deprecation & Delisting: The current Windows Store version will be delisted from the Store and will no longer receive future updates. You will still be able to access the game from your Windows Store library.
Move to the Xbox Version: All existing Windows Store owners will have their game and DLC entitlements copied over to the Xbox platform
Save Games and Achievements: Unfortunately these cannot be copied from the Windows Store version to the XPA version.
Multiplayer: Multiplayer gameplay will move to the same system as the current Xbox version. This means that players will be able to play live head-to-head matches
Alongside XPA support, we are releasing a massive free update for all Battlesector base game owners on October 29th. Here is a breakdown of what to expect:
