First of all, thank you for the incredible support and enthusiasm you've shown for Battleplan. Your input has been implemented throughout development and has helped us shape the game.
Today, we need to share an important update regarding the release of Battleplan.
Following a recent round of additional testing, we received very positive feedback overall. However, some areas were identified where the experience could be improved, and we want to address these before launch. As a result, we've decided to postpone the release of Battleplan to Q3.
We aim to always be completely transparent with our community, and while this wasn't an easy decision, we believe it's the right one. The additional time will allow us to improve several aspects of the experience and ensure the game reaches players in the best possible shape.
Some of the areas we're currently focusing on are:
Improvements to the tools used to draft battle plans, with an aim to improve precision controls over units and create better detailed plans.
Better army management, allowing users to easily merge and split Divisions, Regiments, and Battalions.
Bug fixes, especially those pertaining to the drafting of battle plans, the user interface, or that cause crashes.
General polish including improvements to localization, icons, and presentation.
These are all improvements that we believe will make Battleplan a stronger and more enjoyable experience for everyone.
